We popped down to the Aesthetica car show on Sunday, hosted by the team at The Detail Kitchen. While we're not car experts, we were blown away by the incredible variety of vehicles on display and the fantastic, family-friendly atmosphere of the whole event.

A Triumph Over Adversity
What made the day even more impressive was learning about the incredible challenges the organisers faced. In a statement after the show, they revealed that "Storm Amy" had forced last minute layout changes and a 30% loss of vehicles, and on the day itself, their main catering provider didn't turn up.
Despite this, the event was a huge success. The organisers said they were "immensely grateful" for the support from everyone who attended and that the day "went beyond my wildest dreams."
A huge congratulations to The Detail Kitchen, their sponsors, and volunteers for overcoming the odds to put on a truly brilliant local event. We're already looking forward to its return in 2026!
