Took a wander through Stafford town centre today and spotted a few interesting updates worth sharing! It's always great to see what's happening on our high street, from new faces in familiar shops to fun activities and important community appeals getting underway. Here are three quick things I found today.
1. New Manager & Festive Plans at Pandora
Firstly, a big welcome to Chelsey, the new Store Manager at Pandora on Greengate Street! Chelsey is keen to reassure everyone that the shop is very much open and looking forward to being a key part of the high street. She wanted to bust any rumours about potential closures and confirmed they have exciting plans to get involved in town centre events.
Late Night Openings: Pandora plans to open late for key events like the Christmas Lights Switch-On and Black Friday, where they'll be open until 7pm.
Christmas Eve: They will also be open on Christmas Eve for any last-minute gifts, again opening until 7pm!
Upcoming Offers: Starting Wednesday 29th October, a 20% off promotion will start (Exclusions Apply) - Ask in store for full details and T&Cs
2. Spot the Mice at the Ancient High House!
Looking for a fun (and free!) activity for the kids? The popular 'Mouse Trail' is currently running at the Ancient High House! Just pick up a card from the front desk and see if you can spot all the tiny mice hidden throughout the historic rooms. It's a brilliant way to explore England's largest timber-framed townhouse and keep little ones entertained. The trail is available Tuesday to Saturday during opening hours.

3. Stafford's RBL Poppy Appeal Launches This Weekend
Finally, a reminder that this Saturday, October 25th, sees the launch of the Royal British Legion's annual Poppy Appeal here in Stafford. This vital appeal raises funds to support our Armed Forces community.
Main Stalls: You'll find the main Poppy Appeal stalls (accepting both cash and card, with Gift Aid options) in ASDA, Sainsbury's, and Tesco from Saturday 25th October until Saturday 8th November.
Collection Boxes: Around 300 additional Poppy Boxes and donation cans will also be available in many local businesses, shops, pubs, clubs, and schools across the area. Please give generously if you can.
