Viral street food favourite Spud Man is heading to Penkridge this weekend, where he’ll be serving his well-known jacket potatoes at Rodbaston Animal Zone.
Spud Man will be on site on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 January, serving from 10am to 3pm, with visitors advised to expect long queues due to his popularity on social media.

Back to where it all began
The visit is particularly meaningful, as Spud Man has explained that Rodbaston is his former college, where he studied horticulture. The weekend appearance marks a return to familiar ground, combining his current success with his roots in the area.
His setup will be located outside the Rodbaston Animal Zone, in an area that does not require paid entry, meaning people can visit specifically for the food without needing a ticket.

What to expect on the day
Spud Man’s jacket potatoes have gained a huge following online thanks to their generous toppings and no-nonsense approach. With his popularity continuing to grow, organisers are advising visitors to arrive early and be prepared to wait.
Both days are expected to be busy, particularly around lunchtime.
