Staffordshire County Council has launched a brand-new healthy eating initiative called "Just Add Veg." The campaign is designed to help local residents improve their long-term health by making small, simple changes to their daily meals.

Small Steps, Big Results
The core idea behind the campaign is that healthy habits are easier to keep when they are achievable. Instead of asking for a total diet overhaul, "Just Add Veg" encourages people to simply find ways to include more vegetables in the meals they already enjoy.
The 6-Week Challenge
To help residents get started, the council is inviting everyone to sign up for a free 6-week challenge. Once you join, you will receive a series of weekly emails packed with:
Easy Recipes: Including family favorites like Mediterranean vegetable pasta, veg-packed stir-fry, and turkey burgers.
Expert Advice: All recipes and tips have been designed by Everyone Health Staffordshire to ensure they are both nutritious and tasty.
Simple Tips: Practical ways to sneak extra portions of veg into your breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Why Join?
Eating more vegetables is one of the best ways to reduce the risk of long-term health conditions. By committing to just six weeks, the hope is that Staffordshire residents will feel the benefits and be inspired to keep the habit going for life.
How to Sign Up Joining the challenge is completely free. You can sign up to start receiving your weekly recipes and tips by visiting the official registration page here: Sign Up for Just Add Veg.
