A man who was stabbed outside a nightclub on Bridge Street in Stafford this weekend has been released from the hospital, with his injuries not considered to be life-threatening. The positive update comes as local police appeal for witnesses to help with their ongoing investigation.
Paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene at approximately 4:10 am on Saturday, 27 September, where a man in his 20s was found with a stab wound to his neck. He was taken to the hospital, but has since been discharged.
According to Staffordshire Police, a potential suspect left the scene before emergency services arrived. A police cordon was put in place while initial enquiries were carried out.
Police have also addressed public speculation, confirming that the stabbing is not connected to a fire at a building on Market Square that occurred in the early hours of the same day.
Authorities are keen to speak with anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the incident. If you have any information that could assist the investigation, you can contact the police directly.
