A 12-year-old Stafford resident, Noah Logan, has proven that great things come to those who wait. After growing his hair for seven years, Noah has finally braved the barber's chair to donate a staggering 20 inches (50cm) of hair to The Little Princess Trust.

A Personal Mission
Noah’s journey began with a promise to himself years ago, but his motivation became deeply personal following the loss of his Great Auntie Jacquie to cancer. Seeing the comfort a wig brought her during her final days inspired Noah to help other young people facing similar battles.
"I always wanted to have it cut and donate to this charity," Noah shared. "I now want to donate my hair to help young people."

Smashed Targets
Noah’s original goal was to raise £1,000, which is the approximate amount needed to help the charity provide and style a real-hair wig. However, the Stafford community has rallied behind the 12-year-old. At the time of writing, he has raised an incredible £1,231 from over 82 supporters.
About The Little Princess Trust
The charity provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to age 24 who have lost their hair through cancer treatment or conditions like Alopecia. They are also a major funder of vital childhood cancer research in the UK.
It costs approximately £700 for the charity to provide one wig, meaning Noah’s fundraising has already secured nearly enough for two full wigs in addition to his record-breaking hair donation.

How to Support
Noah’s family shared their pride in his dedication, noting that he had been growing his hair since he was just five years old. You can still support Noah’s fundraiser and help him reach his new stretch goal by visiting his JustGiving page: Noah's JustGiving Link.
