Hogarths Stafford is set to host two send-off events as publican Steve prepares to leave the town centre pub.
Steve’s last day at Hogarths will be Sunday 5 April, before he moves on to take over a new pub. To mark the end of his time there, two events have been announced, including a daytime party and a fancy dress pub crawl.

Event one: Day drinking party at Hogarths
The first event is a day drinking party on Thursday 26 March at Hogarths Stafford.
It is due to start at midday and will include live music and a free buffet.
That one looks set to be a more laid back daytime event for regulars and customers who want to pop in and raise a glass before Steve moves on.
Event two: Steve and Atlanta’s leaving party
The second event is Steve and Atlanta’s leaving party, which is being held on Sunday 5 April from 3pm.
This one will take the form of a fancy dress pub crawl through Stafford town centre before finishing back at Hogarths for the final party.
Organisers say last year’s Easter Sunday fancy dress pub crawl drew more than 60 people, and this year they are hoping to go even bigger.
What to expect
According to the event page, the pub crawl will include:
free shots
best dressed competitions
free food
live entertainment
fancy dress
The pub crawl route
The planned route is:
The Grapes → RIVA → The Yard → The Bear → The Bird in Hand → The Empourium → The Butlers Bell → Hogarths
The finish line party will be at Hogarths, where 20 Mile Island are due to play live.
A final weekend at Hogarths
For people who know Hogarths, this looks likely to be a busy final few days for Steve and the team.
The day drinking party on 26 March gives people a chance to call in for a more casual send-off, while the Easter Sunday pub crawl is shaping up to be the bigger goodbye event.
