About
Love It Again (Staffs) is a Stafford based charity focused on saving usable items from landfill and giving them a new purpose in the community. Through shop sales, pop-up events and donated goods, the charity raises income to support its running costs while also helping local people in practical ways.
A big part of its work is helping turn accommodation into a home. The charity works with agencies and local people to provide household items for individuals, couples and families moving into new accommodation. This can include people rebuilding their lives after hardship, care leavers, people fleeing domestic violence, and those starting again after difficult circumstances. Alongside household items, the charity also provides helpful extras such as food starter packs, cleaning products, toiletries, bedding, books, toys and other essentials.
Love It Again also supports schools, nurseries and community groups by collecting and redistributing items that would otherwise go to waste. This has included things like bikes, trikes, ride-on toys, outdoor play equipment and musical instruments. It also helps other small charities by supplying donated items for their own pop-up sales, giving them an added fundraising boost.
The charity also runs extra community support projects, including Easter egg collections for local families and care leavers, help with birthday presents for children where possible, and a borrow a birthday box scheme with decorations families can use free of charge and return after use.
By combining reuse, practical support and local community action, Love It Again gives unwanted items a second life while helping people across Staffordshire feel more supported in times of need.
